Room by Room Tour 🎋🧧Feng Shui by Jacqueline Albert Pepper
Home Offices are getting more popular as more people tend to work from home these days. Make sure your back is not to a door and the best you can have your back to a command position wall (you can see the window and the door from where you are seated and have your back to Mountain Energy, a wall).
If that is not possible hand a mirror on the far wall across from you so that it reflects the door and all you have to do is glance up and not behind you so that you know when people are approaching. If you are able to possition your desk so you can see out your window you want to make sure that if there is a lot going on outside you are not easily distracted should you need to concentrate more on your work.
Keep clutter to a minimum especially your desk at the end of each day. Make sure everything has it's place. If possible open the mail when it comes and sort it by recycling what is not needed and putting in it's designated place the mail you do need.
As long as everything has it's place, I use a lot of baskets to sort, you can usually keep things tidy each day. If not use a weekly time, usually the end of your week, to finalize all the papers to their place and anything else to have a cleared writing area on your desk each night or week when possible.
If you are like me and happen to be paper messy, you can transition over to paperless like I've begun, where you feel comfortable doing so. If having your home office in the bedroom is the only place you can than you must do a bit extra each day to really put away the thing that will cause you to work or thing about work when you're trying to get rest.
